RESERVATIONS AND CANCELLATIONS POLICY

 

Deposits

 

A non-refundable deposit of 50% of the price is required to reserve your place in the Experience. The remaining amount expires 30 days before the start date of the Experience. If the remaining balance is not fully paid, your spot may be forfeited. You can also pay the total amount at your booking.

 

 

Cancellations

 

No refunds will be issued for reservations canceled within 30 days prior to the Experience. If the reservation is canceled more than 30 days before the Experience start date, you are entitled to a full refund minus the 50% reservation deposit.

 

We reserve the right to cancel the Experience due to unforeseen circumstances. If we cancel the Experience, we will arrange an alternative date or an 80% refund if you are unable to attend the alternative date. The Experience will not be canceled due to the weather forecast. If weather limits our activities as scheduled, we will try to make modifications to the schedule and change the order of our activities so that we can do them all. Please note that the Experiences require a minimum of 4 people to proceed. If there are not enough participants a week before, you will be given the option to keep your spot on the next date, or a full refund will be issued.

 

 

General

 

The payment of a deposit or the total amount of the reservation confirms that you accept all the terms and conditions that follow on this page. Reservation and Payment

 

A 50% non-refundable deposit is required at the time of booking.

 

• Full payment is required at least 30 days before the start date of the experience.

• Your place in the Experience is fully guaranteed when full payment is received.

• If we do not receive full payment at least 30 days before the Experience start date, we reserve the right to cancel your reservation.

• All payments must be made through bank transfer, Paypal or credit card by payment link.

 

Online banking (which must include all bank transfer fees) or by credit/debit card (take into account an additional fee of 2.9%) by requesting the payment link at wakeyoursoulperu@gmail.com

 

 

Cancellation and refund policy

 

All cancellations must be made in writing to wakeyoursoulperu@gmail.com If you cancel and we manage to fill your spot, we will issue a full refund, minus the 50% non-refundable deposit. Otherwise, the following refunds will apply depending on the time of cancellation:

 

• Up to 30 days before the start date of the experience: full refund of any payment made, minus the 50% non-refundable deposit.

• No refund will be issued within 30 days prior to the start date of the Experience. We reserve the right to cancel any Experience at any time. Some reasons to cancel may include (but are not limited to): weather, staff illness, too few attendees, natural disasters, and other unforeseen reasons beyond our control.

 

 

Itinerary changes

 

When weather conditions, forces of nature, or other situations beyond our control restrict our planned activities, we reserve the right to change the itinerary and/or substitute alternative activities. We also reserve the right to change the itinerary if activity opportunities are more suitable elsewhere for reasons other than weather related.

 

 

Insurance

 

WYS rates do not include insurance for your personal circumstances (such as travel, medical services, and equipment).

 

Wake Your Soul does not accept responsibility or any expense for costs related to damages incurred by participants in preparation for or participation in its experiences and associated activities.

 

 

Health, fitness and behavior

 

Before booking a WYS experience, you should assess your own level of fitness and current state of health. Participants must be able to walk for 1 – 2 hours comfortably. At any time from booking to the end of the Experience you join, we must keep ourselves up to date with any health or medical issues that may affect the outcome of the Experience for you or others. Any inappropriate behavior or action that disrupts the Experience or the rights of other participants will not be accepted or tolerated. If this occurs, the offending participant may be released from the Experience without refunds.

 

 

Borrowed equipment

 

If you borrow any outdoor equipment supplied by Wake Your Soul or its supporting partners during any part of the Experience, you are responsible for paying up to and including the excess value for any damage, breakage, loss or theft of that equipment.

Disclaimer

 

Wake Your Soul will do everything possible to assess and minimize risks in all its activities to keep each participant as safe as possible. As we cannot fully control all situations and circumstances in the environments we will be exploring, it is necessary for all participants to acknowledge and accept that there are risks and dangers involved before embarking on any of the WYS Experiences. Wake Your Soul does not accept any responsibility or expense caused by these risks and dangers. Potential incidents may include, but are not limited to; sickness, accidental injury, death, strike, quarantine, loss or damage to equipment or property, and other expenses of any nature.

 

Wake Your Soul does not accept any responsibility or expense around or during any of your Experiences due to unforeseen delays or cancellations that could arise due to any of the following situations (but not limited to); Airline schedules, personal transfers or transportation, natural disasters, weather, theft, criminal activity, political unrest.

 

By embarking on any of the WYS Experiences, each participant agrees to the following:

 

• There are unforeseen risks involved in conducting outdoor adventure activities that could be beyond our control, including and not limited to: access to and from venues, on-site, and transportation.

• Adapt to possible delays, schedule changes, or any other inconvenience due to unforeseen circumstances.

• Each participant has taken the necessary security measures to cover medical needs, travel arrangements, personal items, and others.

• Each participant must have disclosed all pre-existing medical conditions at the time of booking and before the start date of the Experience. And if you're on tour, please update us with any issues that have the potential to affect your own safety or that of other band members.

• Each participant must have the relevant level of fitness required for the specific Experience they have booked or accept the associated potential risks/consequences.

• Each participant must carry at all times the necessary equipment for the Experience or specific activity that they have reserved.

• Each participant assumes all risks and will release Wake Your Soul from all liability, action, cause of action, claims, debts, and demands that may arise in connection with the Experience.

 

 

Promotion – Marketing

 

During a WYS Experience, guides, lead photographers, or owners may take photographic or video records in which you may appear. Such material may be used for promotional purposes, including but not limited to our website, social media and other advertising channels. If you do not wish to appear in any promotional or marketing materials, please let us know at the time of booking.
